About
I am a psychotherapist, and this is how I work.
Twenty-five minutes into a first session, most people say the same thing: they had expected to be assessed, and instead they felt heard. That is deliberate. Understanding comes before technique.

Biography
A practice built slowly, on purpose
I am a psychotherapist with extensive experience in relationship counselling, personality disorders, depression, anxiety disorders and work-related psychological difficulties, with a strong focus on accurate psychological assessment and the development of individualised, long-term therapeutic plans.
I am a member of the Romanian Psychologists & Psychotherapists Association, a PhD researcher in clinical psychology and psychotherapy, and hold a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology and Psychotherapy from Transilvania University. My advanced professional training is in depth-oriented psychotherapy, with specialised training in personality disorders, depression and anxiety disorders, relationship counselling, work-related stress and burnout, trauma-focused interventions and cross-cultural psychological practice.
My clinical experience has been gained through direct practice in diverse therapeutic environments across Europe, including Romania, the United Kingdom and Norway, and in Egypt. I work with clients from varied cultural, social and linguistic backgrounds, in English and Arabic, and I have advanced experience working with migrants and refugees.
My therapeutic presence is calm, precise and methodical: comprehensive, multi-dimensional assessment first, then an individualised long-term plan built on a structured, integrative use of evidence-based models. Sessions last 50 minutes and are held online.

Therapeutic philosophy
Symptoms make sense once you know the story
Anxiety, low mood and anger are rarely random. They are usually intelligent responses to something old or ongoing that has not yet been fully understood.
My starting assumption is that whatever you are doing made sense at some point. The work is to find where it came from, notice what it now costs you, and build something that fits the life you are actually living.
That means I will not hand you a technique on day one and call it treatment. It also means I will not let us drift. We agree what we are working on, and we review it.

Core values
What you can hold me to
Confidentiality without caveat
What is said in the room stays there. The narrow legal exceptions are explained before we begin, not discovered later.
Ethics before outcomes
Clear fees, clear boundaries, clear notes. Nothing is ambiguous about how this practice operates.
Respect for your pace
You decide what to open and when. Progress that outruns safety is not progress.
Independence as the goal
Therapy should end. My aim is that you leave with understanding and skills that belong to you.
Evidence-based care
Why the research matters here
Evidence is not a marketing word in this practice. It shapes what we do and how we know whether it is working.
The approaches I use have been tested in controlled research and refined in real clinical settings. Where the evidence for something is thin, I say so rather than presenting preference as proof.
Progress is tracked through your own experience, and where useful through brief validated measures. If the work is not moving, we change the plan rather than continuing out of habit.
If this way of working sounds right, we can begin
Choose a time that suits you. The first session is a conversation, not a commitment.
